Uniform
The school has a uniform and children are expected to wear this.
The school colours are green and grey and the uniform consists of:-
Grey Skirt, Pinafore Dress, Grey or Black Trousers or Shorts
Green or Grey Tights
White Polo Shirt, either plain or with logo
Bottle Green Sweatshirt/Cardigan with or without School Badge
Green and White Check Dress
Green Baseball cap for the Summer (optional)
Green Fleece jackets with logo (optional)
Green Beanie hats for the Winter (optional)
Black Plain Shoes
Summer Sandals NO opened toed footwear
School colour hair ties and bands – NO large bows or frilly hair ornaments
The Sweatshirts, Polo Shirts, PE tee-shirts and Fleece Jackets with logo, Baseball Caps, Beanie Hats, P.E. Bags and Reading Book Bags can be obtained from Andrew Hyde School uniform website.

P.E. Kit
The children come to school on their P.E. days wearing their P.E. kits. All the children need a black pair of shorts or black joggers, a yellow Tee-shirt with logo and a pair of trainers. The children can wear their green school jumpers or green cardigans when it is cold.
As all the uniform looks the same it is important that all clothing, indoor and outdoor, and P.E. kit, is clearly named so that, if lost, it is easily identifiable and can quickly be returned to the owner. Unmarked lost property will be stored in the Lost Property Box for a few weeks. If it is not claimed it will eventually be disposed of.
If children have pierced ears they must wear studs to school. For safety reasons the children must not wear any other jewellery in school.
